Back at the races and it didn’t take long for HE’S MY WARRIOR to find the winner’s stall, going bang first-up today at Tamworth, despite the extended break.
It was a professional performance from the Hallowed Crown gelding and Anna Roper. The challengers came late but the work was already done at the top of the straight when he let down powerfully to put a winning margin on them, going on to score by 1.1L.
