The homes for our retired horses are scrutinized before they are sent to ensure they are going to the best possible home after retirement.
Pop N Eye (now known as Popeye)
We love to see horses from our stable move on and enjoy life. Pop N Eye was retired as he just didn’t want to be a racehorse. Now known as Popeye, he looks amazing and his owners smile says it all.
Mafioso
Mafioso retired from racing after his win at Walcha in 2014. He now enjoys a successful life in the show ring. In 2020 Mafioso took out Champion Novice Hack and carried his rider to Supreme Champion Glen Sevens rider at Glen Innes show. So wonderful to see a retired horse from the stable happy and healthy. Congratulations Mafioso and Phoebe Kamper
Devilgate Rd (now known as Easywood Blako)
Devilgate Road was rehomed to a neighbour at the end of his racing career. His new home wasn’t a perfect match so he was returned. We found his perfect home with an Olympic show jumper. A champion on and off the track.
Artillerist
Everyone loves a grey, Artillerist doesn’t mind at all playing dress up.
